Charleston Metro Chamber welcomes Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations
March 9, 2020The Charleston Metro Chamber is pleased to announce Laurie Carter as Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations. In this role, Laurie will lead the strategic development and management of the Chamber’s finances and operations.

Her strategic vision will be an invaluable asset to our organization,” said Bryan Derreberry, President and CEO for the Charleston Metro Chamber. “Her leadership and commitment to excellence will ensure that we continue to advance our region and serve our members.”
She earned her Bachelors degree in Accounting and International Business from the University of South Carolina and her Masters in Accountancy from the College of Charleston. Prior to joining the Chamber, Laurie served as Controller for The Gotcha Group.
Laurie grew up in Burlington, Vermont, but has made Charleston her home for over a decade. She currently lives in North Charleston with her husband and two daughters and says that raising her daughters and watching them grow is by far her greatest accomplishment.
