American Legion Post 25 to Conduct Flag Retirement Ceremony

On Tuesday, October 20th, American Legion Post 25 will conduct a Flag Retirement Ceremony with Girl Scout Troop 1016, at 6:30 pm, at the Girl Scout Hut at 502 Hickory Street in Clinton.  This event will provide the Scouts of Troop 1016 an opportunity to learn how to properly dispose of worn or tattered American Flags.

Post 25 will be glad to provide this training opportunity to any organization in the Laurens County area.  To schedule an event, please contact Post Vice Commander Kevin Farnsworth at 864-871-8551.

Post 25 of the American Legion was formed in 1919 and has been active in the Laurens community ever since. We focus on Veterans in the community and on programs for supporting children who we know are the future of our community, state, and nation.
