Richland Library recognizes Black History Month through online programs

Richland Library is highlighting the history, culture and achievements of African Americans throughout the month of February.
To recognize Black History Month, our staff is planning around a dozen online programs, which focus on this year’s theme, The Black Family: Representation, Identity and Diversity. They range from community conversations and panel discussions to musical performances and special storytimes.
Some of the featured programs include:
- The Brown Side of Autism – February 5
- The Segregated Education of Young Men of Color – February 6
- UNMASKED: A Male Summit – February 13
- Evening Arts: Mystic Vibrations – February 19
- STEM-U-Lated! with Dr. Christopher Williams – February 20
- A Candid Conversation with Jane Elliott – February 21
