The NEXT School hosts free, public COVID-19 vaccine clinics

The NEXT School, a South Carolina public charter high school with campuses in Greenville, SC (NEXT High School) and Salem, SC (NEXT School Eagle Ridge), is gearing up for the 2021-2022 school year with an unwavering commitment to the safety and wellness of their staff and school community.
In partnership with Walgreens, NEXT will be hosting two free, on-campus vaccine clinics to support vaccination efforts and protect their students, families, staff, and local communities. These events are open to the public, and community participation is strongly encouraged.
The first clinic will offer the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, and will be held Monday, August 2nd from 12:00pm – 6:30pm at NEXT School Eagle Ridge in Salem (4 Eagle Lane, Salem, SC 29676). Second dose shots will be available on Monday, August 23rd.
The second clinic will offer both the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine and the flu shot, and will be held Monday, September 9th from 9:00am – 2:00pm at NEXT High School in Greenville (2000 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29615). Second dose shots will be available on Monday, September 30th.
Both clinics will be accepting walk-ins with registration on site, so no appointment is needed.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has emergency authorized the safe and effective Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for ages 12 and older. A parent or guardian must be present with 12 to 17 year-olds unless the parent/guardian has signed the consent form in advance and the student brings the signed consent form to this clinic. The South Carolina Department of Health has more information on their website on how you can easily schedule a vaccine.
