SAFE Federal Credit Union promotes Robin Kelly to Assistant Vice President of Compliance

SAFE Federal Credit Union announced the promotion of Robin Kelly to Assistant Vice President of Compliance.

“Robin Kelly has played an instrumental role in enhancing SAFE’s risk and compliance areas,” said President and CEO Michael Baker. “Her attention to detail and passion for protecting our members and their hard-earned money make her a true asset to our organization.”

Kelly has served in several positions during her 22-year tenure with SAFE, including her most recent role as Director of Compliance. She oversees the $1.5 billion credit union’s regulatory compliance operations, including the consumer compliant program, fair lending education, dispute resolution, and the Credit Union’s anti-money laundering program.

“Knowing what I do helps protect our members, organization, and staff is a huge reward. I am excited to continue collaborating with my SAFE family to create a culture of compliance that helps our members live their best financial life!” said Kelly.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Saint Leo University and is certified as a Credit Union National Association Credit Union Compliance Expert.
