Webinar to help employers attract and retain workers

May 31, 2022

Merit pay for Upstate workers has risen 5.6 percent over the past 12 months but with inflation rising 8.6 percent over the same period, workers are not inclined to celebrate. Employers are at their wits end trying to overcome the challenges of attracting and retaining good workers.

On June 23, the Greenville chapter of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) will offer a webinar where creative solutions will be presented to companies seeking ways to overcome the challenges inflation is having on talent attraction and retention.

“Benchmarking Benefits and Compensation” is open to anyone with the responsibility of talent attraction, retention, and employee management. Guest speaker, Jim Shew, is Vice President of Benefits and Total Rewards at Marsh McLennan. He will also present the full findings of the 2021 Mercer National Survey of Employer-Sponsored Health Plans.

The cost is $15 and advance registration is required. Details are available by visiting https://bit.ly/outpace-inflation.
