Freedom Fest 2023 Line Up in Laurens
July 3, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 10:30 pm
The City of Laurens is preparing for another spectacular Freedom Fest on the Historic Laurens Square in Laurens. The festivities will take place on July 3 and include an evening of celebration and music.
“We are excited to be hosting Laurens Freedom Fest, bigger and better than ever! This year, our celebration will feature Laurens’ biggest concert in years. We aim to cement Laurens reputation as the premier destination to celebrate Independence Day in South Carolina. Our line-up of entertainment, from patriotic favorites played by our local brass band, Davidson Brass, to the grand firework finale, is designed to bring together people of all ages. We are especially excited to welcome two bands with No. 1 records, Better Than Ezra and Capital Cities, to Laurens,” said Mayor Nathan Senn.
Musical performances include the local sensation known as the Davidson Brass, followed by a rock out session with Better than Ezra and then Capital Cities.
Come hungry and satisfy your taste buds with delicious treats from a lineup of food and beverage vendors with options ranging from classic American favorites like hot dogs, hamburgers, and funnel cakes to refreshing snow cones, Greek food, Hibachi, BBQ, Italian ice, and more.
This is truly a family event. Parents of younger children will be glad to know there is a dedicated children’s place with activities tailored just for them.
Handicap-accessible parking will be available to ensure that everyone can join in the festivities and have a great time. A service will be provided to transport people from the parking area to the event space as desired.

“The moment that always means the most to me as Mayor is our Veterans Recognition. It’s an important reminder of the cost of the freedom. Their sacrifices are part of the very essence of Independence Day. Our intent is not just to have an amazing show, but to create a tradition – a signature event that embodies the spirit of Laurens,” said Mayor Senn. “We invite everyone to join us for an unforgettable day of fun and music. We look forward to celebrating freedom together!”
