The Barbara Stone Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on supporting visionary and creative programs for individuals with disabilities, will host a special event called ‘CAN Talks’ where five individuals with disabilities living in the Upstate share their unique stories or insights to spark new conversations, challenge outdated stereotypes and broaden perspectives.

‘CAN Talks’ will be held on October 24, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., at Centre Stage, which is located at 501 River Street in downtown Greenville. Admission is $20, and tickets can be purchased at www.GVLCANtalks.org. Virtual tickets are also available for $10. An inclusive dance group from Carolina Dance Collaborative will perform a powerful dance performance.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m., a cocktail reception and presentation for Barbara Stone Foundation’s Fall grant winners will start at 6:15 p.m., and ‘CAN Talks’ begins at 7:00 p.m. A sign language interpreter will be available for the hearing impaired and special accommodations will be made for guests upon request.
