Register now for SCbio’s acclaimed Midyear Forum 2023 — a half-day program Thursday, Sept. 14 at the Columbia Convention Center to enhance leadership, workforce development, and organizational problem-solving skills. Featuring two in-depth tracks, insightful panels, and interactive discussions, you’ll walk away with inspired ideas and a practical blueprint to further elevate your organization.

The Opening Session will update attendees on University of South Carolina’s upcoming $300+ million health sciences campus, set to focus on dementia and developmental disorders, delivered by USC VP of Research Julius Fridriksson and site developer Robert Hughes of Hughes Development.

Dual tracks for attendees include Leadership Development & Optimizing Performance and Workforce Development — each featuring multiple interactive sessions led by industry leaders.  Leadership track sessions include Facing Critical Challenges… Growing Leaders… and Why SC is Right for Life Sciences.  The Workforce Development track includes Workforce Development:  What’s Being Done?… Improving 2-year, 4-year and Certificate Training… and ConnX: Advancing Connection between Industry and Academia.

An Industry Career Fair provides top students from across the Midlands a chance to meet with a limited number of companies.  Registration includes breakfast, lunch and the full program.
