The 13th annual Party for the Parks, presented by First National Bank, returns on Saturday, November 4, from 6-10 pm at Colonial Lake! It is all about sunshine, fast cars, and big hair. That’s right; we are traveling back in time to the 80’s for this Miami Vice-themed party!

Party for the Parks is a flagship event that raises funds to support the mission and activities of the Charleston Parks Conservancy. Last year’s Party for the Parks was attended by 1,200 people and raised $200,000 for park maintenance, improvement projects, the creation of new green spaces, and enhancing the overall quality of parks in Charleston. Party for the Parks also funds our community programs that offer residents many fun, educational, and free events such as Teddy Bear Picnic, Charleston Trees, Summer Concert Series, and more. This event serves as a means to engage and connect with the community, fostering a sense of ownership and pride in the city’s parks. Party for the Parks provides a platform to acknowledge the importance of these spaces for the well-being of residents, visitors, and the environment while encouraging continued advocacy for parks and green initiatives.
