In the spirit of unity and gratitude, the Shifa Clinic announced the upcoming Holiday Turkey Giveaway and Free Health Fair, scheduled for November 11, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the North Charleston Creative Arts Elementary School, located at 5200 Lackawanna Blvd., North Charleston, SC 29405.

As the holiday season approaches, the Shifa Clinic is not only celebrating the season of giving but also demonstrating its unwavering commitment to the well-being of the Tri-county community. This heartwarming event is set to uplift spirits, strengthen bonds, and provide essential support to those in need during this holiday season.

The highlight of this event is the distribution of 500 turkeys, fresh produce, and Thanksgiving Meal Kits to local families, available while supplies last. Attendees can also look forward to holiday gifts that will spread joy and cheer, hygiene packages to support cleanliness and well-being, and baby diapers and supplies to assist young families. The Shifa Clinic’s commitment to community health extends beyond the dinner table. The Free Health Fair will offer a range of health services, including wellness screenings including diabetes, blood pressure, anemia, and vision screenings. In addition, flu vaccines will be available for individuals aged 3 years and older by Walgreens, promoting a healthier and safer winter season for all. The Shifa Clinic will also provide on-site assistance for those interested in becoming Shifa Free Clinic patients which will facilitate access to quality healthcare.
