Live music, drinks, and off-leash furry friends at Yappy Hour August 28

Wrap up the summer with your favorite drinks and your furry friends! Dogs and their owners are invited to James Island County Park on Thursday, August 28 for Yappy Hour: an afternoon full of live music, cold beverages, and fun!

Yappy Hour will take place in the park’s off-leash dog park and will feature a live music performance from Molly Durnin, a singer-guitarist based out of Charleston. Music starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m.

Beer, wine, Pepsi products and Aquafina water will be available for purchase. Yappy Hour is free with park admission ($2 per person or free with the Gold Pass) and no registration is required.

The dog park at James Island County Park has acres for your pup to run and play. It features separate fenced-in sections for large and small dogs and a large lake where dogs can swim and play (wildlife is present so pets should be monitored closely). The park also offers a dog washing area, water fountains, benches and nearby restroom facilities.
