The South Carolina presents The Music of Studio Ghibli on August 23rd, at 7:30 PM, at Koger Center for the Arts. This concert invites audiences on an unforgettable journey through some of the most enchanting and emotionally powerful film scores ever written. The Music of Studio Ghibli will fill the Koger Center for the Arts with the lush, evocative compositions of Joe Hisaishi — the musical mastermind behind many of the beloved Studio Ghibli films. Founded in 1985 by visionary director Hayao Miyazaki and producer Isao Takahata, Studio Ghibli has become one of the most celebrated animation studios in the world, known for breathtaking visuals, rich storytelling, and deeply human themes.
