Community Input Session on Land Use and Zoning Set
September 11 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

The Laurens County Citizens for Land Use and Zoning Task Force invites all members of the public to attend an upcoming community input session on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 5:30 PM. The meeting will take place at Clinton Public Library located at 304 W. Pitts Street.
This meeting is part of a series of sessions being scheduled in all districts throughout Laurens County. The goal is to provide every resident with the opportunity to attend a meeting close to home, learn about land use and zoning issues, and share their feedback on how their community should grow and develop.
The agenda for the September 11 meeting includes introductions, a guest speaker, time for public comments, and adjournment.
The Land Use/Zoning Task Force, formed by Laurens County Council, includes representatives from each council district along with members of Laurens Residents for Quality Rural Living, LLC. The group’s mission is to explore current and future land use patterns and recommend zoning policies that reflect the unique needs and preferences of Laurens County communities.
Public input is a critical part of the process. Community members are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and share their vision for the future of Laurens County.
