Unpacked Leadership Conference seeks student volunteers for October 3 event

The 2025 Unpacked Leadership Conference, presented by Colonial Life, is seeking student volunteers to support its upcoming event on Friday, October 3, at the Richland Two Institute of Innovation, (R2i2). Designed to bring together executives, community leaders, and entrepreneurs from across the region, the Unpacked Leadership Conference offers students a unique opportunity to serve, learn, and connect with leaders in a variety of industries.
Student volunteers will assist with guest registration, speaker and sponsor support, attendee engagement, and event logistics. Participation may qualify for community service hours, depending on individual college or university requirements.

Volunteer roles include:
- Registration TableAttendants (8): Check in attendees electronically (Eventbrite) or distribute badges and materials, answer FAQs
- Technicians – Slide & AV Management (2): Set up/monitor equipment, assist speakers, troubleshoot issues
- Speaker Escorts (2): Greet speakers, guide them onstage, support any last-minute needs
- Food Servers (5): Set up service areas, manage meal times, maintain cleanliness
- Seating Assistants (3): Guide attendees to seats, manage entry flow, handle overflow
- Event Setup/Breakdown (6): Set up the day before the event and break down the day of the event
- Microphone Assistant (3): Provide microphones to guest who have questions
Students interested in volunteering are encouraged to apply at Volunteer Sign-Up by September 19, 2025. Volunteer roles are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
