Jim Hudson Automotive Group purchases land in Chapin for Ford dealership

Colliers | South Carolina’s Grayson Greiner represented Jim Hudson Automotive Group in the purchase of two parcels totaling 15.41 acres at 715-725 Columbia Avenue in Chapin for $4,525,000. The automotive group plans to construct a Ford dealership, which will employ approximately 75 people.
The site is located off the Exit 91 interchange on I-26. The South Carolina Department of Transportation is finalizing upgrades to the interchange and recently completed the widening of 16 miles on I-26 from four to six lanes under the Midlands Connection Project. The improvements will provide more capacity on the roads from Irmo to Little Mountain, resulting in less congestion and traffic.

Jim Hudson Automotive Group, founded in 1980, has 10 existing dealerships, including an additional Ford dealership in Lexington, South Carolina, as well as Audi, Lexus, Buick/GMC, Chevrolet, Cadillac, Toyota and Acura dealerships in Columbia, Irmo and Sumter, South Carolina and Augusta, Georgia.
