November 9, 2025Single session tickets available today for the WTA 500 professional tennis tournament
The Credit One Charleston Open, North America’s premier women’s-only tennis tournament, will return for its 54th year in 2026 from March 28 to April 5. As the kickoff to the WTA Tour’s clay-court season, the event takes place annually at Credit One Stadium and has been recognized as the WTA 500 Tournament of the Year in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Tickets for the 2026 tournament are on sale today to the general public, giving fans the opportunity to reserve their seats for an event that will feature more than 100 of the world’s top players and debut an exciting new lineup of fan experiences, food and beverage offerings.
For more than 25 years, Charleston has been home to the Credit One Charleston Open, which has grown into one of the most celebrated events in women’s professional tennis. The tournament’s continued success is fueled by the recent renovation and modernization of Credit One Stadium, an elevated fan experience, and a consistently world-class player field that delivers top-tier competition year after year. The 2026 tournament already features two top 10 players in its draw, Americans and former Charleston champions Jessica Pegula and Madison Keys. Additional player commitments will be announced in the coming weeks.
In April, Credit One Bank extended its title partnership of the Credit One Charleston Open through 2031 and announced the tournament will offer equal prize money beginning in 2026, a historic milestone for the event. This move reflects the bank’s belief that women athletes deserve equal investment and opportunity, and further cements Charleston’s role as a leader on the Hologic WTA Tour. With this announcement, the Credit One Charleston Open becomes the first standalone WTA 500 tournament to voluntarily increase prize money to match comparable ATP 500 events.
Anticipation is building for the 2026 Credit One Charleston Open, as ticket renewals and pre-sales continue to show exceptional demand. All 100-level seat packages have sold out, as well as the tournament’s most popular packages, the Series, Finale and Champions options. Building on the success of last year’s Coastline Lounge, the 2026 tournament will further enhance this premium hospitality space, located on the court’s baseline, offering unparalleled views, elevated comfort and coastal-inspired cuisine from Sullivan’s Fish Camp throughout the event.
“As we look ahead to the 2026 Charleston Open, we want to thank our incredible fans and partners, whose support has made this tournament a standout on the tennis calendar,” said Bob Moran, President of Beemok Sports & Entertainment. “Next year, we’re focused on elevating the fan experience with more ways to enjoy the matches, upgraded hospitality throughout the stadium and some exciting new spaces and events we can’t wait to share. Charleston continues to be the perfect home for world-class women’s tennis, and 2026 promises to be another unforgettable celebration.”
New for 2026, the tournament will host an on-site shopping market, featuring six local vendors offering handcrafted and bespoke goods. Guests can also enjoy a new restaurant space, available with daily seatings, providing a relaxed and leisurely dining experience.
The 2026 tournament will introduce new theme nights, including Ladies Night, Educators Night, Military & First Responders Night, Women/Girls in Sports Night, and Date Night, each featuring specialized programming, activations and ticketing incentives.
“COCO Row” will return with a curated selection of Lowcountry restaurants, showcasing the city’s celebrated culinary scene. Featured vendors next year include Bodega, Sullivan’s Fish Camp, Orlando’s Pizza, Verde, and MPishi, among others. Fans can also enjoy pickleball and padel experiences, giving attendees the chance to try these fast-growing sports in a fun, social environment. The tennis-focused Fan Zone, presented in partnership with USTA South Carolina, will return as well, offering hands-on tennis activities and games designed to test skills and inspire the next generation of players.
The popular MUSC Family Weekend will take place during opening weekend, March 28–29, featuring two full days of family-friendly activities, including fairy hair, face painting, live music and more. Family Weekend tickets start at $10 for adults, while children 16 and under are free.
When purchasing tickets for the 2026 Credit One Charleston Open, patrons have the option to choose from single session tickets and a limited number of ticket packages, including the Intro Package and MUSC Family Weekend Package. Packages provide exclusive and premier views of the court, as well as the best value on tickets. Special discounts are available for juniors, seniors, USTA members and military members. Juniors aged 16 and under receive complimentary general admission with the purchase of an adult ticket, courtesy of Credit One Bank.

The nine-day Credit One Charleston Open showcases a singles draw of 48 players, a qualifying draw of 24 players, and a doubles draw of 16 players. The event traditionally hosts more than 90,000 attendees on Daniel Island.
Charleston Tennis, LLC, which manages Credit One Stadium under a lease from the City of Charleston, renovated and modernized the 20-year-old facility in 2022. The city-owned venue underwent upgrades to enhance the stadium experience for patrons, performers, tennis players and event management, allowing the venue to attract world-class athletes and talent to Daniel Island.
The Credit One Charleston Open has been a pioneer in women’s professional sports since 1973, paving the way for female tennis players to receive equal recognition, respect and compensation in the sport. The tournament has a long history of breaking new ground in tennis, having been the first women’s tennis event to offer $100,000 in prize money in 1973 and the first to be broadcast live on network television. The inaugural champion, Rosie Casals, received a check for $30,000, which was the largest prize money payout awarded to a woman that year. Originally held on Hilton Head Island, the event relocated to Charleston in 2001 and is now played at the LTP Daniel Island tennis center, home to Credit One Stadium.
