Cola Rosé Shower returns to Williams-Brice on February 7 despite stadium construction

January 29, 2026

Attendees encouraged to bring feminine hygiene donations for women & girls in need

The 5th Annual Cola Rosé Shower will proceed as planned despite ongoing construction at Williams-Brice Stadium. The pink-powered celebration will be held on Saturday, February 7, inside the stadium’s Zone (1125 George Rogers Blvd) from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

Marking five years of purpose-driven celebration, Cola Rosé Shower continues its mission of uplifting women, amplifying conversations around women’s health, and addressing period poverty in the Midlands. Guests may expect the same signature experience they’ve come to love—just with a little extra resilience, which has always been at the heart of the event.

Attendees are encouraged to bring feminine hygiene product donations to support women and girls with limited access to essential period supplies. Donations will be collected by Sistercare and The Period Project. The Cola Rosé Shower has raised over 100,000 products to date.

Feminine hygiene products (pads, tampons, panty liners, hygiene wipes, period underwear, and over-the-counter menstrual pain relievers) may also be donated at various locations in the Midlands until February 2 including:

Half of women in the United States ages 18-64 reported having an ongoing medical condition that required monitoring, care, or medication, according to the 2024 KFF Women’s Health Survey. This rate increases with age, from 41% of women ages 18-49 to 65% of women ages 50-64. Nearly one in five (17%) say that they have an ongoing health condition that keeps them from participating fully in school, work, housework, or other activities. According to the latest Period.org research, one in three (37%) women in the United States have experienced period poverty in their lifetime which may require them to make a decision between purchasing food or period products. In South Carolina, one in five women and girls between the age of 12 and 44 live below the Federal Poverty Line. One in four students struggle to purchase period products. This leads to embarrassment, depression, and unhealthy substitution of products.

In true Cola Rosé Shower tradition, Williams-Brice Stadium will glow pink as hundreds gather dressed in their favorite shades of pink to toast with unlimited rosé and frosé, indulge in Southern Way Catering’s signature cuisine, and dance the afternoon away with Shejay T.O.

“Five years ago, this started as a vision rooted in resilience, and today it’s a movement,” said Deonna Wylie, founder, Cola Rosé Shower. “The construction has definitely been a challenge to navigate, but I am incredibly grateful for the continued support from our community that has made this event possible. Whether you’re battling cancer, fibroids, endometriosis, infertility, menopause, or simply standing in solidarity, this is a space where every woman’s story is valued and celebrated. We are showing up ready to celebrate, educate, and collaborate – as we always do.”

The 5th Annual Cola Rosé Shower is made possible through the generous support of community and corporate sponsors, including: Richland County, Post and Courier Free Times, Cumulus Media, Crisp Rentals, Dayson Shalabi Burkett Law Firm, Yip Premier Real Estate, MUSC Health, Jabber & Isaac, PA, Prisma Health, Tito’s Homemade Vodka, Absolute Total Care, First Citizens, Lexington Health, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, and many other prominent businesses.

Men are not only welcome—but encouraged—to attend and support the mission.

About Cola Rosé Shower

Cola Rosé Shower is a South Carolina-based initiative dedicated to celebrating women while raising awareness about women’s healthcare and period poverty. Founded in 2022 by Deonna Wylie, the organization was inspired by her personal decade-long battle with uterine fibroids, which led to a hysterectomy at age 36. Through its annual event and year-round advocacy, Cola Rosé Shower creates spaces where women are seen, heard, and supported. Learn more at colaroseshower.com.
