Greenville Convention Center announced the promotion of three valued team members to leadership positions, recognizing their dedication, expertise, and contributions to the organization’s continued success.

Scott Davis has been promoted to Director of Events. With 28 years of service at the Greenville Convention Center, Davis will oversee all aspects of event service delivery for the facility’s nearly 400 annual events. He will direct and supervise the Event Services team, coordinate with the Fire Marshal’s office, City Police and Fire Departments, and the facility’s preferred audio-visual partner. Davis will also manage departmental budgets, event floor plan approvals, facility security operations, parking services, and the center’s event diagram software system while ensuring the highest quality service to drive client satisfaction and event rebooking.

Scott Davis, Dee Dee Holden, and Steve Moran

Dee Dee Holden has been promoted to Assistant Director of Sales. With 25 years at the Greenville Convention Center, Holden will help shape the sales strategy that drives the center’s growth, taking a lead role in expanding Greenville Convention Center’s presence at industry trade shows and opening doors to new markets. Just as importantly, she’ll serve as a pillar of support for the facility’s sales management team, bringing her experience as a mentor and collaborator. Working in close partnership with VisitGreenvilleSC, area hotels, and the Director of Sales & Marketing, Holden will play a central role in the convention center’s future.

Steve Moran has been promoted to Operations Manager of Engineering. With 14 years of service at the Greenville Convention Center, Moran will lead the engineering team and oversee the maintenance and operation of all building systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire, and security systems. With extensive experience in both commercial and industrial settings, Moran has served as Head Electrician at the Greenville Convention Center since 2009. He will ensure the facility maintains the highest operational standards, manage electrical systems and infrastructure projects, and supervise the installation and repair of critical building components to support the venue’s diverse event programming.

“These promotions reflect the exceptional talent and commitment of our team,” said Matt Hollander, General Manager of the Greenville Convention Center. “Scott, Dee Dee, and Steve have consistently demonstrated leadership and a dedication to excellence. We are confident they will continue to elevate our operations and enhance the experience we provide to our clients and guests.”
