Join us at Brookgreen Gardens for our annual Read Across America Day from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, a fun-filled day where the joy of reading meets hands-on creativity! This event brings stories to life through engaging crafts, interactive STEAM challenges, and exciting games that spark imagination.

We are thrilled to welcome community partners including the DAR, Waccamaw Audubon, and Grand Strand Shell Club to add to the festivities. Dress as your favorite book character and join us for a day of exploration and learning at the Arboretum (across from Oak Allee concert field)! This event is free with Garden admission.
