Join the USCG Auxiliary on Saturday, April 18 at 8:00 am at Pawleys Island Outdoors for free, professional Vessel Safety Checks. The safety checks are fast, friendly and non-punitive. Please bring boat registration/documentation and any onboard safety equipment you would like inspected.

Registration and numbering
Navigation lights
Ventilation
Fire extinguishers
Distress signals (flares, horn, etc)
Battery cover and connections

Vessels passing safety checks are awarded a U.S. Coast Guard/Auxiliary Decal that informs the Coast Guard/Auxiliary, Harbor Patrol, Sheriff Deputies, Police and other boating law enforcement and safety agencies that your boat is in full compliance with all Federal and State boating laws during a safety check for this year.
