Come to Hobcaw Barony to learn the art of sweetgrass basket making. This exclusive program allows participants to learn how to make sweetgrass baskets from Gullah artist Barbara McCormick. Mrs. McCormick and Foundation staff will host this program in the Hobcaw Barony Discovery Center classroom. All materials will be provided, and each participant will be able to take home the basket afterwards. (Exertion level: Low impact – sitting, basket making)
