Hobcaw Barony has every habitat found on the coast of South Carolina which is home to many species of birds. Join staff and volunteers to explore the salt marsh for shorebirds, longleaf pine forest for red cockaded woodpeckers and the grounds of Bellefield Plantation and pond for various woodland species. Participants will travel by bus to the various locations. Please remember to wear comfortable shoes, dress for the weather, and bring water and sunscreen. (Exertion level: High impact – standing for long periods of time, walking on uneven terrain)
