Press & Pointer Coffee House will celebrate its grand opening Saturday, Aug. 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 103 E. Laurens Street on the public square in Laurens.

The business announced the date this week, telling followers the wait is finally over and that the team is eager to open its doors and begin serving the Laurens community. Additional details and celebration events tied to the opening are expected to be announced in the days ahead.

The coffee house is also hiring. Press & Pointer is looking for a part-time barista to join the team as it prepares to open. No previous experience is necessary. According to the announcement, the business is seeking someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a heart for serving others.
