“Kirk” is the Scottish word for “church”. Tartans, with their distinctive plaid, represent specific Scottish Clans, regions, or regiments. The “Kirkin’ o’ the Tartans” is the persentation of a Scottish family’s symbol, its tartan, at church for blessing. FPC Clinton will honor the heritage of the Presbyterian Church, as well as our own family heritage on Sunday, October 25th. We invite all from the community to attend this special service of worship, 10:30 AM in the sanctuary.
