A Dream Unveiled: The Wine Fountain Opening in Fountain Inn

In the heart of Fountain Inn, a new gem is about to grace its streets – The Wine Fountain. Scheduled to open its doors on December 15th, this wine haven is the brainchild of John and Mitzi Workman. While John brings business acumen to the table, Mitzi, an RN with a passion for all things local, is the driving force behind this venture.

For Mitzi, born and raised in the area, The Wine Fountain is more than a business; it’s a heartfelt dream. The couple acknowledges that the opportunity to open this wine shop seemed almost serendipitous, a stroke of luck facilitated by Michael Launius and other dear friends. John and Mitzi couldn’t be more excited and grateful for this chance to turn Mitzi’s dream into a reality.

The vision behind The Wine Fountain is to create a cozy and inviting space where people can unwind and relax with friends, both old and new. The couple envisions a place where laughter flows as smoothly as the wine, fostering connections and creating memories.

One of the highlights of The Wine Fountain will be its monthly wine club, offering tastings of wines paired with delectable bites. The small bites menu is designed to complement the wine experience, featuring charcuterie, hummus, pretzels, Caprese bites, salads, flatbreads, paninis, and indulgent desserts like chocolate cake and cheesecake. On weekends, a limited brunch menu will be offered.

The beer and wine selection at The Wine Fountain will be diverse, catering to varied preferences. With a selection of white and red wines available by the glass and bottle, and prosecco on tap, patrons can explore both local and international flavors. The beer menu boasts a variety of options, including domestic beer, ciders, seltzers, craft beer, and imports.

Live music will be a regular feature at The Wine Fountain, with acoustic performances a couple of nights a week and on Sundays. This musical touch adds to the overall ambiance, creating an atmosphere that enhances the enjoyment of fine wines.

Situated next to the market and an outdoor pavilion/concert venue in Fountain Inn, The Wine Fountain invites patrons to join them for a mimosa or beverage of choice while enjoying events in the area.
