AAF of The Midlands Announces the 2008 ADDY® Call for Entries

COLUMBIA, SC – December 31, 2007 – AAF of The Midlands, formerly the Columbia Ad Club, is proud to announce the Call for Entries for the 2008 ADDYs. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising. The awards are open to all advertising professionals and students.

This year’s ADDY award ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Township Theater in downtown Columbia. Festivities begin at 6:00 pm and will last until midnight. The ADDY competition in Columbia is the first of a three-tier national competition. Winners at the local level can proceed to the regional competition, and if successful there, can proceed to compete for a National ADDY Award.

The ADDY Awards entries will be due Tuesday, January 8, 2008 and can be turned in between 3:00 and 7:00 pm at the USC College of Journalism and Mass Communications at the Carolina Coliseum.
