Aarati Doddanna Joins Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd in Charleston Office

CHARLESTON, COLUMBIA, FLORENCE, AND GREENVILLE, SC – May 29, 2008 –  Aarati (RT) Doddanna is the newest associate attorney at Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A.  Based in the law firm’s Charleston office, she will concentrate her practice on business law, including employment, healthcare and corporate matters. 

A 2007 graduate of the Howard University School of Law, Ms. Doddanna received the CALI Award Recipient for Civil Procedure.  She received her bachelor of science degree from Towson University in 2002; her major was business administration with concentrations in marketing and international business with a minor in economics.  She is a native of Columbia, Maryland.

While attending law school, she volunteered at the Employment Justice Clinic where she conducted client intakes for low-income workers.  Ms. Doddanna’s experience at the Clinic led her to an internship at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in Washington, DC.  At the EEOC, she clerked for Administrative Judge Gladys Collazo where she drafted numerous opinions and orders addressing a variety of federal statutes, such as the ADA, ADEA, Equal Pay Act and Title VII.

Admitted to practice in South Carolina, she is also a member of the American Bar Association.
