Foulks, the Breakfast Attendant at the Wingate by Wyndham Columbia/Lexington, won the Hospitality Employee of the Year Award for the region. Out of a dozen other applicants, she won because of her dedication to her position and for her day to day caring and thoughtful gestures toward visitors.  Foulks has been with the property for 5 years and has worked 25 years in the hospitality industry.

“Her work is complete and thoughtful. She not only carries out instructions, but also anticipates the extra needs for groups, high occupancy and meeting room breaks.  Adean is grateful, generous and caring,” said Jeanette Lowicz, General Manager of the Wingate by Wyndham Columbia/Lexington.

The Capital City/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Organization selects a Hospitality Employee of the Year annually and the regional winner is submitted and considered for the statewide Hospitality Employee of Year award named at the SC Governors Conference on Tourism & Travel each February.

The Wingate by Wyndham Columbia/Lexington is a 97-room hotel and offers amenities such as a complimentary hot breakfast, pool and spa, 24-hour fitness center and over 2,000 of flexible meeting space.
