In a dynamic partnership, Laurens Police Department officers recently engaged in specialized training with a local military unit, focusing on the use of force and firearms. The day included simulated qualification courses, hostage situations, moving targets, and dynamic scenes.
The identity of the military unit remains confidential for security reasons. This collaboration allowed Laurens PD to provide advanced training without incurring ammunition costs, demonstrating a strategic use of resources.
