Abbata is a licensed professional engineer in South Carolina, North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Missouri, Texas, Alabama, Maryland, Minnesota and Virginia. He is registered with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
