Allen Inglesby Named Director Emeritus at SC Technology & Aviation Center

GREENVILLE, SC – December 12, 2011 – The South Carolina Technology & Aviation Center (SCTAC) named Allen Inglesby Director Emeritus of the SCTAC Board of Directors today recognizing his committed service and leadership.  During his 30 years of involvement with the SCTAC Board of Directors, Inglesby served as Chairman and Member-At-Large, saw the re-branding of SCTAC as well as several key investments and expansions totaling well over $350 million. 

“The Board and I truly appreciate Allen’s dedication and direction while serving on the SCTAC Board of Directors,” says Jody Bryson, President and CEO of SCTAC.  “His experience and understanding has greatly contributed to the progression of SCTAC as an economic development epicenter in the Upstate.” 
As co-founder and president of I&M Industrials Inc. where he has worked for over 40 years, Inglesby is well-respected throughout the state for his experience in the field of compressed air, steam applications and controls. His continued success as an entrepreneur and dedicated business-man can be seen through I&M Industrials’ achievements and unprecedented obligation to customer service in South Carolina and Georgia.
 
Inglesby has been an enthusiastic member of the Donaldson Fire Service Area Board. His clear passion for the Donaldson Center Fire Department is evidenced by more than 20 years of previous participation with the Fire Service Board.
 
Inglesby also served on the Board of Directors for Industrial Compressors Distributors Association, the Greenville Airport Commission, the United Cerebral Palsy Board of Directors, and several other prestigious clubs and organizations across the state and nationally during his 50+ years of professional business experience.
 
Inglesby and his wife of over 20 years, Carol Inglesby, are blessed with four children and seven grandchildren, and reside in Greenville, S.C.
