Amanda Wuenscher Mitchell launches new SC based lobbying firm

Amanda Wuenscher Mitchell announced the launch of AWM Consulting Group, a boutique governmental affairs firm focused on lobbying and offering a full range of services that can be customized and tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of each client. Mitchell, an attorney and seasoned lobbyist, plans to offer services such as strategic planning, legislative drafting, monitoring, coalition development, grassroots mobilization, legislative event planning and ethics compliance and reporting all under one roof. AWM Consulting Group’s approach ensures clients achieve a complete, coordinated approach to governmental relations in a manner that is efficient and effective.

Mitchell has nearly fifteen years of experience in the governmental affairs arena most of which have been spent representing global corporations, trade associations and non-profit organizations on the local, state, and national levels. Leading lobbying efforts with her team on behalf of a diverse client base, Mitchell has represented clients on a wide range of issues including education, telecommunications, alcohol beverage licensing and regulation, tax, healthcare licensure, scope of practice, labor and employment, criminal justice, housing, environmental, economic development, procurement, utilities, and other various topics.

Amanda is proud to be a lifelong South Carolinian. She was born and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina, before moving to the Capital City for college and subsequently law school, during which she was introduced to and fell in love with both her husband and a career in the world of governmental affairs.
