AMAZING SUPPORT: 211 Helpline match smashes goal of $100K, raises $161,307

This year GivingTuesday became a three-day event and supporters delivered beyond our wildest hopes, raising more than $161,000 to support Trident United Way’s 211 Helpline.

Thanks to a generous $50,000 pledge and massive community support during the first day of the challenge, the D. Michael Wilson and Pam Wilson Trident United Way 211 $100K Challenge quickly grew into a $150,000 challenge as the Wilsons pledged an additional $25,000.

Including the Wilsons’ match, the total raised from Tuesday to Thursday is an astounding $161,307! That’s far beyond the $100,00 Trident United Way initially hoped to raise.
