American Legion Post 25 to Host 5th Annual Golf Tournament to Support Local Charities
March 16, 2026The American Legion Post 25 is inviting golfers and community supporters to participate in its 5th Annual Golf Tournament, scheduled for June 5, 2026, at Lakeside Country Club.
The annual tournament has become a popular community event that brings together golfers, local businesses, and supporters to raise funds for charitable initiatives supported by the American Legion.
Teams are currently being recruited for the tournament, with four-person teams available for $400 per team. In addition to team participation, hole sponsorships are also available for $100 per hole, offering businesses and individuals an opportunity to support the cause while gaining visibility during the event.
“All of the proceeds from this tournament go right back into the work we do in the community,” said Post Commander Kevin Farnsworth. “From supporting veterans and their families to helping with local programs and charitable efforts, events like this allow us to continue serving Laurens County in meaningful ways.”
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit charities supported by American Legion Post 25, including programs that assist veterans, support local youth initiatives, and strengthen community service efforts throughout Laurens County.
Community members who enjoy golf—or who simply want to support the mission of the American Legion—are encouraged to participate by entering a team or becoming a hole sponsor.
Those interested in participating can use the QR codes included on the forms in this article to easily register a team or sign up as a hole sponsor.
