American Legion Post 25 Toy Run Brings in Record Support for Fifth Year

November 11, 2024

The fifth annual Toy Run hosted by American Legion Post 25 was a huge success, drawing a record turnout of participants and support from across the region. This year’s event saw 65 riders from the American Legion Riders of the Lowcountry joining forces with local riding groups and community members to make a significant impact. The Toy Run started at Western Square Drive and finished at Big Daddy’s on Church Street.

“We had an incredible turnout, with riders from all over the state coming together to support our cause,” shared Kevin Farnsworth, Commander of American Legion Post 25. “The photo of our united patches really says it all—brothers and sisters supporting one another across South Carolina. We collected a large number of toys and donations that will go directly back into our community. We are so blessed to have this kind of support!”

American Legion Post 25 extends its heartfelt thanks to all participants, volunteers, and sponsors for making this year’s Toy Run the best yet. The outpouring of generosity and community spirit ensures that many local children will experience a brighter holiday season.
