American Red Cross receives $5,000 donation from Callison Tighe & Robinson

The Central South Carolina Chapter of the American Red Cross has received a donation of $5,000 from Callison Tighe & Robinson law firm.
“The American Red Cross is an organization that is vital to our community. Many do not appreciate the scope of its mission, in addition to facilitating life-saving blood donations, from providing relief from flood, hurricane and other natural disasters, to providing comfort and support to members of the military and their families,” said Rick Detwiler, managing member of the firm. “This year, we decided to recognize the contributions of the Red Cross locally and across the globe by making this contribution. We hope others will consider a donation to this great organization.”
The American Red Cross’s stated mission is to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies. With the help of many volunteers, donors, and partners, it provides disaster relief at home and abroad, lifesaving blood, training and certification for responders, and support to military families.
