Mayor Riley said, “Our vision is to positively impact the education and lives of children and families living in poverty and the level of support services for veterans and their families here in Charleston.  We will build and improve the capacity of agencies, organizations and nonprofits to operate in an integrated and collaborative system, and sustain an increased level of service. AmeriCorps*VISTA members make an extraordinary commitment and powerful impact on addressing critical problems and issues in our community”
