Ameris Bank announces Peggy Small as Mt. Pleasant Branch Manager

Ameris Bank has named Peggy Small as branch manager of the Mt. Pleasant location. In this role she will build and maintain banking relationships in the Mt. Pleasant area and manage the daily operations for the branch. Small will work closely with Market President Charles Hudgens.
In making the announcement, Hudgens stated, “With Peggy’s extensive experience, we are confident that she will do an excellent job offering exceptional banking service to both consumer and commercial customers.” He continued, “I feel certain that new and existing customers in Mt. Pleasant will truly enjoy working with Peggy.”
Prior to joining Ameris Bank, Small worked as a branch manager for seven years at CresCom, Bank. Previous to that, Small worked at Community First Bank and Home Federal Savings Bank, where she gained experience in customer service and operations management.

Small attended the College of Charleston and currently resides in McClellanville with her husband, Sam. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending time on the beach.
