Amy Coward launches new public relations firm

Amy Coward, APR, Fellow PRSA, has launched a new boutique public relations firm, AC Public Relations, LLC, to provide communications strategies and event planning for local businesses.
“I’ve been in the public relations field for more than 30 years and determined it was time to go out on my own,” said Coward. “Clients can tap my years of experience and my personal one-on-one approach. I really plan to be a business partner to those I work with.”
Coward was with Prisma Health Midlands Foundation for the last 16 years and raised more than $50 million through fundraising events for the hospital while creating awareness of many hospital programs and services. Her career includes many years in the non-profit sector, as well as agency and corporate public relations experience.
“Starting a new business is challenging,” said Coward, “but I know many people in the business community and they know my work ethic and ability. I’m excited for what the future will bring.”
