Anderson 3’s Tripp Bouknight installed as SCSBA Region 11 director

Tripp Bouknight, Area Two representative of the Anderson School District Three (Anderson 3) Board of Trustees, was installed as Region 11 director of the South Carolina School Board Association’s (SCSBA) board during the Association’s board retreat. His regional responsibilities include Abbeville, Anderson 1-3, Edgefield, Greenwood 50-52, McCormick and Saluda school boards. The gathering took place on Friday, Jan. 5, in Fort Mill, S.C.

Bouknight is a third-generation board member of Anderson 3 and has served the Flat Rock community since 2016. A graduate of Crescent High School in Anderson 3, Bouknight said his involvement in the school board originates from his genuine desire to give back to the community in which he grew up.

Bouknight owns and operates an automotive business in Anderson and is highly involved in his church. As a board member, he brings a unique perspective, blending his business insight with a deep understanding of the district’s heritage and values.

He and his wife of 20 years, Nikki, have two children – Kiersten and Levi.
