Anderson County Government Weather Updates

ANDERSON COUNTY, SC – Due to the impending inclement weather, Anderson County Government will be closed on Thursday, February 26. The Anderson County Library will close at 5 pm today and remain closed Thursday. All Anderson County School Districts have announced closures on Thursday as well.
Anderson County Emergency Services has put the Emergency Operation Center on partial activation. EMS has stationed QRV vehicles with a paramedic and deputy in each area of the County to provide quick response to any medical incident.
The Salvation Army is standing ready to open a Winter Weather Shelter tonight (Wednesday, February 25). County officials, along with the Red Cross and Salvation Army continue to monitor the weather and will open additional shelters should the need arise.
