Andrew Mathias Joins Nexsen Pruet; Expanding Billy Wilkins’ Team

GREENVILLE, SC – September 29, 2010 – Nexsen Pruet is pleased to announce that Andrew Mathias has joined the firm as an Associate. 

Mathias will practice with the Business Litigation Group in the firm’s Greenville office.  He will work closely with Billy Wilkins, former Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, primarily in the areas of white-collar crime, appellate advocacy, and corporate compliance.

Prior to joining Nexsen Pruet, Mathias clerked for South Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Jean H. Toal.  He has private practice experience in the areas of transportation and products liability litigation.  Mathias is also a past member of the Legislative Advisory Committee of SC BIPEC (South Carolina Business and Industry Political Education Committee.)

Mathias earned his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar and the Richland County Bar Association.
