AnMed Rehabilitation Hospital names Heath Watson as CEO

Heath Watson has been appointed as chief executive officer of AnMed Health Rehabilitation Hospital. The 60-bed rehabilitation hospital is located at 1 Spring Back Way in Anderson, South Carolina. The hospital, a joint venture between Encompass Health and AnMed, serves patients recovering from life-changing illnesses or injuries.

Watson has served in a variety of roles over his 19 years with Encompass Health. With an accounting background, he held the controller position for Encompass Health hospitals in Montgomery, Alabama, and Pensacola, Florida. Watson has also served as an associate administrator and interim CEO at other Encompass Health hospitals. As CEO of AnMed Rehabilitation Hospital, Watson will oversee all hospital operations.

Watson holds a Master of Business Administration from Troy University and a Bachelor of Accounting from Auburn University. He is also a certified public accountant.
