Announcing Leadership Charleston class of 2018

August 30, 2017

CHARLESTON, SC – Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Charleston, a highly sought after professional development opportunity established in 1974, is proud to announce the Class of 2018.

Leadership Charleston’s mission is to identify and motivate emerging leaders and to develop their leadership potential by introducing them to the realities, opportunities and challenges of our civic and business communities. The program focuses on the primary issues facing our region, including infrastructure, talent development and business advocacy.

“The Leadership Charleston program provides our up and coming leaders the opportunity to learn about our community, to collaborate with their peers and to find areas in which they can contribute their talent in moving our community forward,” said Mary D. Garcia, Senior VP of BNC Bank.

The 44th Leadership Charleston class will experience the power of working with other community leaders and organizations for positive growth and advancement of the region. Upon graduating in June 2018, class members will become Leadership Charleston Alumni, a distinguished group of leaders, including Chamber Board of Directors, elected officials and prominent local leaders.

Leadership Charleston participants are selected via an application process. If you would like to receive updates as to when applications for the next class open, please contact Alex Glasgow at [email protected].
