ART Clinton 2025 Kicks Off April 5th: An Epic Celebration of Creativity, Community, and Live Art Battles!

Organized by Jeannie Browning, the event will feature art exhibits throughout local businesses and a central gallery at 110 Musgrove Street, serving as the hub for this artistic extravaganza.
Browning, the event coordinator, expressed her excitement about the event, stating, “ART Clinton 2025 is all about celebrating our local artists and bringing the community together in a fun, creative way. We’re thrilled to have so many people participate and support the arts in Clinton.”
A Unique Blend of Art and Entertainment
The main event of ART Clinton 2025 will be a series of art exhibits displayed within local businesses, creating an immersive experience for residents and visitors alike. The central gallery will house a curated selection of pieces, offering a cohesive presentation of the community’s artistic talent.
To draw even more attention to the exhibits, outdoor ART BATTLES are planned throughout the event. These live painting competitions will feature friendly artistic stand-offs, adding an element of excitement to the creative celebration.
Kick-Off Day: Saturday, April 5th
The event kicks off on Saturday, April 5th, at the Uptown Depot and the Square, with two unique art battles:
- Youth Paint Out (10:00 am)
Young artists aged 9, 10, and 11 are invited to participate in this free, fun-filled event. Only ten spots are available, so pre-registration is required. Supplies will be provided for a quick 20-minute painting session, with the subject revealed at the start. Although there are no prizes, the emphasis is on creativity and community spirit. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy music while cheering on their young artists. - Celebrity Art Battle (11:00 am)
Local celebrities, including Mayor Randall, Dr. David O’Shields, and Dr. Martha Brothers, will take part in a lighthearted painting competition. Spectators can vote for their favorite “artist” while enjoying live music and the lively atmosphere.
Art Battles Continue: Saturday, April 12th
The art festivities resume the following Saturday with two more painting challenges:
- TAG Art Battle (11:30 am)
The Art Group of Clinton will engage in a timed live painting competition. Audience participation is encouraged, with votes determining the winner. - Adult Art Battle (12:30 pm)
Adults are invited to paint live for 20 minutes. Participants must bring their own paints, brushes, and palettes, while canvases will be provided. The subject will be announced at the start, and spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and vote for their favorite artist.
