Artists Invited to Submit Work April 20–25 for 2026 ART Clinton Festival

April 12, 2026

Artists are encouraged to mark their calendars as submissions for the 3rd Annual ART Clinton Festival will be accepted April 20–25 in advance of the month-long celebration of the arts in downtown Clinton this May.

Artwork may be delivered to 110 Musgrove Street daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the submission window. The festival is open to artists age 18 and older, with each participant allowed to submit up to five works for consideration.

Submission fees are as follows:

  • One artwork: $20
  • Each additional artwork: $5

The festival will showcase artwork throughout local businesses in downtown Clinton, featuring entries across three categories: 2-D, 3-D, and Textiles.

A highlight of the festival will be the awards reception on Thursday, May 21, at the central gallery on Musgrove Street, where first, second, and third place winners in each category will receive cash awards.

In addition to the gallery exhibits, the festival will feature several interactive and family-friendly events, including outdoor Art Battles for adults, a children’s Paint Out near Monument Square, and plein air painting opportunities for local artists on various days throughout the festival.

The exhibit prospectus is emailed annually to previous participants, but new artists are welcome to enter. Those needing a printed copy may pick one up at the Clinton Art Gallery during regular business hours: Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Artists seeking more information are encouraged to contact Jeannie Browning at Clinton Art Gallery.

The annual ART Clinton Festival continues to grow as a signature downtown event, celebrating artistic talent while bringing visitors into local businesses throughout the community.
