Located at 1515 Highway 246 South in Greenwood, S.C., Ascend plans to increase polymer production at its Greenwood facility. Hiring for the new positions is projected to begin in the first quarter of 2017, and interested applicants should visit the company’s careers page online.

“South Carolina has a rich history in the chemical production sector, and today’s announcement by Ascend Performance Materials shows that this industry continues to flourish in the Palmetto State. We congratulate this tremendous company on their continued commitment to our state and look forward to watching them thrive here for years to come,” said Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt.
