Association of Fundraising Professionals announces 2015 National Philanthropy Day Winners
September 28, 2015COLUMBIA, SC – The SC Central Carolina Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) will honor the finest achievements of the philanthropic community in the Midlands at the 25th Annual National Philanthropy Day on October 27 from11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Columbia Marriott.
The 2015 National Philanthropy Day Award recipients are:
Outstanding Corporation – Wells Fargo
Outstanding Fundraising Executive – Maria DeHart, Palmetto Health Foundation
Outstanding Marketing Professional in Support of Philanthropy – Joey Wallace, United Way of the Midlands
Outstanding Philanthropist – Norman and Gerry Sue Arnold
Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser – Mollie Taylor
Outstanding Volunteer Group Fundraiser – Junior League of Columbia
Outstanding Volunteer Youth Fundraiser – Heathwood Hall Students
The event will also recognize the 5th Annual Charlotte L. Berry Spirit of Philanthropy Scholarships recipients. The scholarship was established to honor Berry’s philanthropic and community building efforts across the Midlands while supporting the professional evolution of fundraising officers in underfunded organizations and underrepresented populations through membership in AFP.
