Attorney General Alan Wilson to Visit Laurens Saturday for Community Meet-and-Greet
March 4, 2026South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, a candidate for Governor of South Carolina, will visit Laurens this Saturday, March 7, for a community meet-and-greet at Tap & Table on the Public Square.
The informal gathering will take place Saturday beginning at 11:30 a.m., with Tap & Table opening early at 11:00 a.m. for lunch. Tap & Table with have the restaurant’s popular pizza oven fired up, giving attendees a chance to enjoy lunch while meeting the candidate.
Wilson is expected to arrive shortly after the restaurant opens and will spend time greeting attendees before offering brief remarks to the crowd between 11:30 and 11:45 a.m.
The visit is part of Wilson’s campaign efforts to connect with voters across South Carolina as he seeks the Republican nomination for governor. The stop in Laurens will give residents an opportunity to hear from him directly and speak with him in a relaxed, local setting.
Community members are invited to attend, enjoy lunch, and take part in the conversation as Wilson shares his vision for the future of South Carolina.
